Appearance

The snake’s color pattern is identified by the name enchi morph, and the enchi ball python has sparse dark brown stripes and a bright orange or yellow shade. The snake’s back has a band that runs from the head to the tip of the tail. The bar has a white outline. Males can reach lengths of up to 2-3 feet, while females can reach lengths of up to 5-6 feet.

How to Take Care of Enchi Ball Pythons

Habitat, Tank Conditions & Setup

Maintaining an Enchi ball python is not difficult. The most important factors are proper lighting and a clean, well-heated tank.

Tank

An adult ball python needs an aquarium that is at least 30 gallons in size. However, larger tanks are acceptable. The tank lid should be tightly closed to stop them escaping. The snake should be able to hide in one or two boxes in the tank. Surfaces should be changed regularly to keep a clean environment in the tank. And the water dish should be cleaned daily. It should be able to soak in a dish of water.

Lighting

Boa constrictors do not need special lighting. In addition to the normal day-night cycle, you can use a heat lamp to keep the temperature at an appropriate level. UVB lights are not required for boas.

Heating (Temperature & Humidity)

The ambient temperature of the tank should be between 82 and 88 degrees Fahrenheit. A basking area with a temperature of 88 to 92 degrees Fahrenheit is required. A heat lamp may be required. It is recommended to keep the total humidity in the tank at 50% to 60%.
